Located in an exceptional natural setting, just an hour and a half from Madrid, the village of
Somaén is located in the middle of clayey rocks that remind us of a version in
small of the Colorado Canyon.
Somaén Castle is an 11th century tower and a 17th century mansion. And it is that the Soria more arid, turns green in this protected corner, in a landscape that smells of thyme and rosemary.

Welcome to Somaen Castle, a charming hotel with 12 luxury rooms.

The hotel enjoys a privileged location in an exceptional natural setting, located in the upper part of the village of Somaén which enjoys better views over the river Jalón.

The Castle of Somaén was built in 2002 and is composed of a s. XVIII and a Castle of the s.XI cataloged National Monument of Spain.

RESTAURANT

It is the traditional meeting place for our customers. In a delicate atmosphere with natural light and careful decoration, you can enjoy a splendid daily breakfast, lunch and dinner with the most exquisite variety of local products, presented with the mastery of international culinary techniques.
In addition, we organize group meals and buffet at the pool.

DECORATION

The rehabilitation of Somaén Castle has incorporated the architecture of the 21st century through large skylights and furniture by designers such as Le Corbusier, Charles Eames,
Norman Foster, Vila, Ricardo Bofill or Philip Starck.

POOL

Blending in with the landscape, it is our customers’ favourite place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.
In the summer season, we have the capacity to offer meals and we have at the disposal of our clients a chiringuito where they can get their own drinks and the appetizer they wish.
The swimming pool is where the hotel’s cantilevered viewpoint is located, where you can undoubtedly contemplate a wonderful landscape of the mountains and the Castle.

MASSAGES

To hire our massage service, you must give notice when you book and you can choose the one you want, from relaxing massage, chocolate therapy, body hydration, massage, anti-aging facial treatment, etc.

We have two main rooms; one in the main building and another in the Castle.
Each one of 200 m2 diaphanous, with a spectacular cover with central pendolon and big
windows that let you see the landscape.
Corporate meetings or events can be held as well as private celebrations.

BIKE RENTAL

We have 2 mountain bikes with everything you need to make a trip in pairs through the countryside.
There are several marked routes that leave from the hotel and we can make a picnic to transport in the cessation of the bike with snacks and drinks to eat in the middle of the field.

We have a billiard room where customers can enjoy fun and memorable moments in the Castle tower, as well as a small private room, where you can to play board games or cards.
